TEODOR (2020–2023) – Training of trainers in organ donation and transplantation

TEODOR was an Erasmus+ project focused on cooperation for innovation and the exchange of best practices in organ donation and transplantation. The project aimed to design and pilot an innovative training program for healthcare professionals from Latvia, the Czech Republic, and Lithuania, bringing together expertise from leading European partners. My role focused on delivering the Train-the-Trainers component, with a strong emphasis on innovation in teaching and the importance of evaluation. I equipped participants with pedagogical skills, learner-centered instructional strategies, and practical tools to design effective training programs. A key focus was on integrating evaluation into the educational process, including the use of formative and summative assessment methods, feedback mechanisms, and outcome-based evaluation to measure training effectiveness. I also supported the development of training materials and facilitated interactive sessions, strengthening participants’ capacity to act as multipliers while ensuring that training quality and impact could be systematically assessed and improved.
