KETLOD (Knowledge Exchange and Training for Liver Donation) aimed to design and implement a postgraduate program in organ donation tailored to Chinese healthcare professionals and aligned with the national higher education system. My role focused on developing a comprehensive educational quality plan to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all participating actors. This involved establishing quality standards and performance indicators to evaluate competencies, learning outcomes, teaching and learning methods, and assessment strategies, while maintaining coherence among all stakeholders. The quality plan incorporated a structured evaluation framework with standardized assessment criteria and multi-level feedback and assessment tools (participants, trainers, and institutions). A central component was the integration of a continuous quality improvement cycle (plan–do–check–act), enabling systematic, data-driven refinement throughout the implementation of the program.
